  • CRM Application Not Opening On MAC

    Hello,

My IT team has developed a CRM software using Espocrm. The web link work perfectly well on all the windows PCs however its not working on my Macbook Pro (OS - Sonoma 14.6)
I face an error everytime I try to reload the page. I have followed all the instructions recommended online for the "Non-existent domain" error, however its still not working. The portal doesnt open on my iPhone either. Request your support for this.

    Thank you,

    Hi, just 3 questionw :
    1) have you a reverse proxy ? if yes, witch reverse proxy (nginx,....) ?
    2) https or http ?
    3) can you access directly by IP like : http(s)://x.x.x.x/espocrm

This post don't respond to your issue, but i have same. I use Google Chrome and no issue
For me, it's a "setting" in reverse proxy (nginx in my case), i can access with IP with Safari but not trough "espocrm.domain.xzz"

PS : i have not tested on iphone safari and don't have portal

      Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have not used reverse proxy and tried with HTTP & HTTPS. Both did not work. All the other computers use http.

However, your IP suggestion worked with Chrome. Thanks a lot for that!

The other windows computers are able to access the CRM using http://<server name>/espocrm but the same is not working for me. any idea why this is happening?

If you’re getting a "Non-existent domain" error on your MacBook and iPhone, it might be a DNS issue. Try clearing your DNS cache on your MacBook by opening Terminal and running sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder. Also, make sure the domain is correctly configured in your DNS settings. For your iPhone, you might want to try resetting network settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings).
