    Knowledgebase / Markdown

For technical documentation within the knowledgebase it would be brilliant, if i could use markdown. I already have a lot of markdown formatted content, which i would like to paste into the kb. Any idea how to get this done?

    Thank you

    Hi,

It's not supported at the moment. But I think you can add a custom textarea field and then, in the backend, convert markdown to HTML and write to the body. The php-markdown lib is available in Espo.
If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.

Description text support markdown. Perhaps you can create that custom field and use that instead of the default WYSIWYG

I gave it a try with a textbox but i am lost where to define, that it should use markdown. I can show raw text or preview, but that's all in my 9.0.2. Any idea how to achieve that?

        TIA.

(been quite a while on sick leave and couldn't follow up. Was hoping, it would be some sort of standard in V9 though)

Update: Consider this done, i was misleaded because of the non-english GUI, i found out how to do it and it works. Thanks for the push in the right direction.
