Does something exist as part of Espo that offers data enrichment. eg. it cross references emails, contacts names etc.. with linkedin and other public sources to provide more accurate data on import. Many CRM's are now doing this and it seems like something that is ideal.

No there is no such thing, even as a 3rd party if I remember correctly. If it does it might be on one of the developer website that sell in Euro dollar which is way too much for me to look into further.
If you want such feature you have to develop it yourself. There is also other website/server that can do API template where they are connected with many services so you might want to look into that.
The Many CRM doing is not a good argument. It is open source so you are welcome to add these feature or pay someone to add these feature and we all benefit.
