Display Link to Email in document created from Email

From an Email with an attachment, we can create easily a document from that attachment. As I need some more fields from the Email n documents, I would like to know, how I can have the link to the email directly in that created document.
I already tried with an n:1 relationship, but I did not succed in fetching the Link to the Email automatically.

Anybody an idea?

It's not possible. Email ID is not passed when a document is created.

I haven't tried it for email<>documents yet, but I did it for my other entity, does save a bit of time.

I probably will do it one day to copy/paste the [Link] to Description of Documents, similar way that EspoCRM do it for Task/Meeting (iirc). *wink* *wink* maybe yuri will add it as default
