Archive Opportunities

May I suggest "Archive" function for list of opportunities.
This is to enable users move some opportunities to archive instead of total removal.
For history references it is useful for our service industry particularly when providing similar service to same customer in the future.

Espo does not have any archiving ability in its design. You just set an opportunity Closed Lost or any other custom status. This opportunity won't be listed in the Open filter.

Espo has its design that is already established. Should we make things more complicated by adding completely new design elements.

By settings probability = 0 for a custom stage, it won't be listed in Open filter.

I would recommend to simply use filters. You can create new stage called "Archive", create new filter and exclude opportunities with stage "Archive" from other filters
