Replicate functionality of "Recalculate Formula" drop-down option as a script command

In most working situations, it would be very useful to see real-time updating of calculated fields/formulas AS the data is actually being entered, rather than when the record is actually saved.

Could this action be implemented simply by replicating the "Recalculate Formula" drop-down option (Image 1) as a script command (Image 2)?

Formula is recalculated with every save. Thats basically why its called beforeSave script. Implementing this action as a cron job would make much more sense but it is beyond my skills https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/deve...ulate-formulas

I know formulas are recalculated with every save, but my suggestion is just a function/command to be able to do the same (i.e. for the current record) within a script. If it can be done in a drop-down, then it could be done from within a script, with the recalculations re-displayed in realtime. (I am aware of the slight overhead in doing this, but that would be up to each individual Admin to decide). This feature would make Espo more intuitive to users as they are entering or changing data.

This feature is already available as a commercial extension for Espo 7 users preferring not to wait for a feature request to be granted. https://payhip.com/b/28Dhw
