    URL Entity

Hello, Currently the URL entity systematically refers to an http address: the http is systematically added.
Can we have a reference to other types? like "file" which would allow to create links to files hosted internally by our company.

    ------ docx content ----

    1. What I typed file://xx

    2. What Espo CRm makes : http://file://xx

Is it possible that Espo CRM manages different links like http but also file...

Or can we create a second entity URL2 that would link to files?

Hello, I think that will not be possible. There are some discussions already, to be able to upload files to a cloud and get them from there instead from the espoCRM upload folder. But no solution, as far as I see.
Meanwhile, perhaps a workaround with this browser extension (here: Chrome) could be a solution: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...cbffibkencdfkl
Similar extension exists for Firefox also.

Another approach would be, to upload all documents to espoCRM and link it inside.
