Improve the List (Item) Layout

For Entities such as Quotes, etc, the `List (Item)` layout can be pretty prohibitive because it quickly becomes very cluttered and hard to see when there are more than a few fields present - often, there is quite a decent amount of information that needs to be displayed in this Layout.

It would be ideal if this Layout could be split over 2 rows, rather than trying to cram everything into one row with the possibility of having to omit data because of readability.

Any ideas how it should look appreciated.

For now, we have the columns header with names that will be useless if we switch to multi-row layout.

This is indeed a very good question. I'll have a think about how it could look.

Maybe for the primary fields, column headers would be best but then for the fields underneath, this just would look a bit odd....

I had an idea to implement a horizontal scrolling, but changed my mind. I find horizontal scrolling not user friendly.

if i understand .. it's my eternal problem .. maybe like a dashlet view on the right or notification pop-up when mouse-over or click a detail icon or mouse-over ?

just say : Yuri, "tab" is a must have for detail view... scrolling down is too a ... i think same "..."

Tabs for detail view exists with an extension by Eymen Elkum (Eblasoft). Works great as expected. One problem with tabs is, when you have more than five or six tabs, width space will not be enough.
Alternative for that is an accordion detail view, that also already exists, but needs some improvement.
I use both.

Be good if it also possible for the List view as well and not just Item List of (quote, invoice, etc).

But this tablesaw thing look great, my only concern is it is last update 2-3 years ago. Either it is no longer need for any update or it is an in-active project, but the #issue reveal a different story.
