A drag and drop html-mail editor for messages and templates

I would really love it it there where an option to get a capable drag-n-drop html-mail editor in EspoCRM.

I need that feature for both for singular email i.e. Emails > Compose and the creation of Email Templates.

There are several on the market that might be suitable?

Unlayer is an email editor and page builder to build beautiful, responsive designs quickly and easily. Use it online or embed it into your application.

https://emailmonster.io/ (uses the same one as Unlayer provides).

    https://tlapi.github.io/topol-editor/features / also here: https://topol.io/

Discover Beefree SDK, the highly customizable, white-label, no-code visual builder for Emails, Landing Pages, and Pop-ups. Enjoy features like File Manager, Content Services API, Template Catalog API, and exceptional support services for seamless content creation integration into any application.

https://mosaico.io/ (Open source but lacks features).

    A plugin-architechture for maileditors/emailtemplates maybe?

Also, an option to be able to paste html-emails from other places that doesn't get stripped of html-code would also be great.

    /Ola

I'm going to be straight with you here Taz, I too would like these type of feature (from briefly glancing at these website). But it is very unlikely that this feature request will be seen within this year (or possible even next year).

You would probably need to get a programmer to develop as a feature if you want this function.

Highly recommend Stripo.email - although you can still use it, you just have to copy/paste the email once you're ready.

If you contact them though, they are very good at adding integrations to other systems and I am sure would like EspoCRM as much as we do, that would just save the copy/paste part, and I think their interface for managing the design flow is probably best worked with there than reproducing similar in Espo.

We'll contact them too and I recommend to anyone else interested, it is certainly our favourite email design platform from the many, many tried over the years.

Looking at their website, they already have the function, it just a matter of supporting EspoCRM as well. See this page of theirs here:

Feel free to embed into your Web application an email editor that will make your users happy. Stripo Plugin is written in native Javascript and designed like a component in a way to be easily configured and extended within minutes.

The best option for EspoCRM to have it's own HTML Builder, both for Email Templates and potential for use as a CMS would be GrapeJS:

          * https://grapesjs.com/

Open-Source, modern, responsive and I believe matches Espo's ethos for quality and enabling so much within a single framework

And since designing emails from scratch takes a lot of time, you can use templates from here as a starter: https://reallygoodemails.com/

I want to contribute with more email templates from here: https://designmodo.com/email-templates/, or you can start from scratch.
