Hello Yuri,
just my 2 cents idea :

it's not possible to have this setting in "preferences" of users ?

and for users, it's not possible to have "userName" in view and not fullName? this is just for low width in list view for assigned user.

Not possible at this moment. Only as a system wide parameter.
