Last modified update of Parent when task (or other) is added/modified

    Hi,
I have been surprised to see that when opening a Task and assigning it to a Parent, the parent item does not update its modification date.
I have tried different other things, like creating new relationships or even just adding to the stream of an entity, and none of these do update the modification date.
    Is it on purpose?
Would it be possible to configure this? Because right now, in my opinion, my most active Projects (name of the entity in question) don't show up at the top of my list, even when sorting by "Last modified date".

    Thanks.
    Cheers,

    Hi,

I don't this idea. It's just not right.

I think you can achieve this with workflows.
If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.

I agree with Yuri.. you don't update parent, you just update "lastActivity" date.
