    Holding conversations in text fields

Hi I have a number of big text fields were I store information from places like LinkedIn conversations, iterations of pricing that I have sent etc.

The natural place is to store the most recent item at the end of the text field (as this makes sense for chronological reading). The down site of this is that I have to:
    1. Scroll to the bottom of the field every time that I add something
    2. The summary never changes as it is the top 10 lines i.e. the start of the conversation, not the current place.

So could we have another check box on text items for "Conversations". This would have the following 2 changes:
    1. When not in edit, it would show the last n lines rather than the first n lines
    2. When I edit this filed, it puts me at the end of the text not the start.

    Thanks very much.

Yes, a new field would do it, but I would prefer a modifier on existing field, so that I don't have to copy my data over.
