Store a letter or and pdf-document under a contact

Under my contacts I see all the mails with a customer.
But how could I store a letter (word-document or pdf-file) that I wrote to the customer or that I had received from a customer?

As far as I know, such a possibility is not implemented.

Do you see a chance that this will be implemented someday?
it is important for every crm user I think.

You could create a field under contacts (or account) that allows you to upload that kind of stuff.
Or create a relation with documents so that the contact (or account) is linked.
