Performance of the program

We have uploaded a Data Base of 40.000 records as leads, and apart of having problems because the import tool it's not ready to upload this kind of files, I wonder if it affects to platform speed, I mean, I think that now the program is running slower than it used to.

So, the question is, if its better to upload the information little by little or it doen't affect

It doesn't affect.

40.000 of records can slow down queries to 'lead' table depending on your server configuration.

P.S. Import planned to be improved to be able to upload big bunches of data. Now it's limited by max execution time of php.
