    Allow/Disallow Fields in Roles

    In principle a nice feature but it doesn't really help if I can't protect private phone nos / emails only.
    Business case: The managing director adds a CEO to the database but doesn't want his employees to see and use the private cell and / or email address of this person. Nonetheless the office phone /email should be visible since these are routed to the assistant. I understand the technical difficulties behind but still...

    Not very clear to me. Do you mean to restrict access to phone numbers and email addresses by their type (Office, Mobile)? Or to have kind of checkbox marking the specific number/address as a private?

      The former yes. Restrict by type. Usually the general / public phone numbers or email addresses should be seen and used by everyone. Private ones by priviledged people only (I am talking B2B here(.
