"Default Payment Method" for the Sales Pack

Hi all,

Currently in the Sales Pack you can set a lot of defaults e.g. via settings like "Default Price Book", "Default Payment Terms Profile", "Default Rounding Profile".

I think there is no way to set a "Default Payment Method", right?

The only option is currently to set a default value in the Entity but this then would behave differently than Payment Terms etc (None defaults to a value VS the value is set by default) which I would like to avoid


Could you consider adding a "Default Payment Method"?

Hi,

It's reasonable to set it Account > Primary Payment Method. The logic is that the document's payment method is inherited from the account. There's no reason to have a separate global default if the Account is expected to be selected always.

Having a separate global parameter kind of complicates things.
