Official Electronic Signature

Guys,

I believe its time and would be very beneficial for EspoCRM to have an official electronic signature feature, or ideally include it as part of the core functionality.

Currently, available eSignature extensions are third-party and not actively maintained, which leads to:

• compatibility issues with newer EspoCRM versions
• failed upgrades or uninstall problems
• risk of data loss or complex migrations

From practical experience, maintaining these extensions over time becomes difficult and unreliable.
Many other CRM platforms already include eSignature as a built-in feature, so having an official solution in EspoCRM would greatly improve stability and long-term usability.

Sorry, but I just came across that one; in fact, I installed it and migrated from the old version. If it's maintained by one of the developers, that's even better, but I still think it should be included on Espocrm, IMHO.

Such simple signatures, won't they become obsolete? There are already in many countries in favor of real digital signatures. I'm not sure we need to include a feature that is likely to be completely obsolete.

You need to install the extension for chrome.

I have resolve read eid card very basic data (firstName, lastName, nationalNumber) but not resolve for login and sign.

So work for Belgium EID (i have the last eid with footprint ).
