I have two related topics regarding Project Permissions which I would like to ask / discuss if its a possibility to add or update in the future.
Our problems:
1. Project Tasks are only visible for users if:
- They are included in the project team and have the Owner or the Editor role assigned or
- They are included in the project team as member and the specific task is assigned to them.
For transparency reasons, we would like to make all details of a project including project tasks (preferable read-only) available to all users, even if they are not actively participating on the project.
Right now, a workaround for us would be to add a custom role "follower" and add ALL users to ALL projects with that role, which is not optimal, but would work in general but theres a caveat, see number 2:
2. Project Stream visibility is currently limited to the default roles "owner" and "editor" . While admin users and users with "Owner" or "Editor" default roles can see the Project Stream, users with the "Member" default role or any custom roles cannot access it.
Is there any development going on in this area or would it be possible to consider changes / improvements in this area?
