Scan Barcode Mode in Delivery Orders

We are trying to make the fulfillment of the Delivery Orders as smooth and easy as possible. To accomplish this we thought we would be able to scan the barcode on the actual packages we have that have the actual Inventory Number printed on them as barcodes. However we are not able to use the scan guns on the fulfillment of the delivery order in ESPO because the Inventory Number field does not work with the scan. It seems like the scan and return are faster than the JavaScript on that field or just conflict in some way.

So the feature request for ESPO would be to have a scan only mode or button in delivery order that opens up a scan window where the user can scan the barcode of the Inventory Number and have it work to fill that Line Item or Items of Inventory Numbers on a delivery Order. Ideally it would allow the user to just pick up packages with the barcode and scan them while in a delivery order. Each scan should read all the possible inventory numbers available for any line in that order and show a green check or red x if it is allowed or not. The main feature being that they dont have to click into each Inventory Number Feild individually to perform the scan. Making fulfilment that much easier and accurate.

I realize that ESPO is not a WMS and this feature starts to get into that world. However I would argue that the delivery order fulfillment already broke that ground and this is just a way to make it work that much better when you have taken the time to have the Inventory Number printed on the case/package in a barcode format. Therefore allowing the scanning for accuracy.

I hope this request makes sense. As always thank you so much for the amazing tool. Just trying to make suggestions that will help everyone more efficient.
