Dear EspoCRM Team,
We would like to request a small enhancement to the shipping address fields in EspoCRM.
**Problem:**
When sending shipments to parcel drop boxes (such as Amazon Locker, DHL Packstation, etc.), most shipping providers require a specific locker or drop box name or code. Currently, EspoCRM has no dedicated field for this information, and storing it in the main delivery address line is not ideal.
**Suggested Solution:**
One possible and simple approach would be to extend the "Shipping Address" section with an additional line – for example, adding a "Shipping Address Line 2" field. This would allow users to manually enter the parcel drop box name or ID (e.g., “Amazon Locker - RiverPark”).
This flexible addition could be used for both traditional addresses and drop box-related shipments, with minimal system changes.
**Alternative Suggestion (Optional):**
For more advanced needs, consider allowing "Shipping Provider" to be linked to a list of available parcel drop box locations, so the user can select one directly from a list.
**Benefit:**
This enhancement would support more real-world shipping scenarios and improve compatibility with courier integrations. It also makes the system more flexible for businesses using alternative delivery methods.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best regards,
Tomas
