Comment Box on Stream Page and Stream Dashlet

On the User stream and entity streams, we're able to type a message directly into the comment box above the stream and it posts to the stream. However, neither the stream dashlet nor the stream page supports this. On these pages, you have to click the Create Post button, which opens a modal. Then you have to select the user or users you want to post to, then finally type your post in the box. It would be much faster and easier if the comment box appeared above the dashlet and stream page, just like in the other streams. This would work identically to posting to your own stream on the user page. Anything you type in the box would appear in your stream, and if you mention other users, it would appear in their streams as well.
