    Idea : Print-To-Pdf ... Use-Pdf-Template

    Hi Yuri,
let me try to explain ...
when composeEmail, we can select a Template...
when we print-to-pdf we select a Template a print..

do you think this idea is good or not :
    a new buton : use-pdf-template

so when a user in Contact entity maybe, .. click "use-pdf-template" .. a new windows open whith the template content fetched from the original template but in edit mode and user complete some area.. and then print.

    else no problem..

    Best Regards

Yes, i think something like that. Especially with Tables that are within the template and needs to be filled that would be beneficial. It's a great idea.

    Hi Emilod,

there are a doctor web application and i have see doctor to use this kind of functionnality.
there are placeHolder like espoCRM in the template, he select the template and the template is open on editView with placeHolder "replaced" whith data of Patient.
Then doctor write some text.. and print.
of course, we can create a new field and put the text there.. and save and then print-to-pdf.

I don't know if it's a good or not good idea.. it's just what i have see

The question is : is this benefic to espoCrm, to user experience, ..
all the goal is "less click", my doctor complain about "many click" with his application
If you could give the project a star on GitHub. EspoCrm believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.

I don't think that EspoCRM developers decide to do something like that, but it's possible to develop such functionality.
Here you have an example: https://formio.github.io/formio.js/a...mples/pdf.html

with these library, .. salespack have make the pdf.. the postal courrier open the "invoice pdf" .. and you sign for receiption and send by mail.

i see many sample for use case.

It's possible to build forms in formio and post submission into EspoCRM. We're using it already. All submissions are going into our EspoCRM and are handled by our internal scripts, but they're may be processed by Advanced Pack as well. It's also possible to load data from EspoCRM into form.
In attachment below you can see that person information are load automatically from logged portal user + there is a select field which allows to choose task from list based on ACL of portal user.
