Edit Report type

I want to change the report type from grid to list but this is disabled.

I changed the type in the database table and the report list works fine. Why is this option disabled?

It's disabled for a reason. It's rare when it's needed to be changed. Only if created wrong type by mistake. Supporting this will cause many UIX issues needed to be handled. One report will work after change in DB, another won't. I don't recommend to do it. Create a new one.

We have reports with complex conditions for selecting records and it is difficult to restore these conditions in another reports
