  • Microsoft O365 Shared Mailboxes

    Hi,

Has anyone been able to use the Outlook extension to read shared mailboxes?

If so are you able to provide the settings/steps you have taken.

I do not have the extension, so I really do not know what settings are available.

However if you setup Thunderbird to read a shared mailbox, you use the email address of the shared mailbox as username. e.g. fax@mycompany.com

But you use the oauth2 authetification (email and password on the microsoft login page) of the user who has acccess to that shared mailbox. E.g. kyle@mycompany.com

Maybe try the same approach with EspoCRM account setup.

Hello Kyle, we're using Office 365 in our company. We've managed to use shared mailboxes without oAuth.
It require additional configuration on o365 side and then you'll be able to configure shared mailbox through you standard mailbox. It's working for now, but we'll see how it go after MS disable imap/smtp.

      Here you have example https://www.arclab.com/en/kb/email/i...ge-online.html

If you'll have issues, you can contact us directly through email and i'll connect you with my associate which configured it in our EspoCRM
