Map Extension!

Hi all,

We have released a new extension that enhances the existing address component in EspoCRM with more features. Here is an overview:

• Adds two coordinate inputs: Latitude & Longitude
• Adds a Google Places search bar. Search for an address and the following fields will be filled automatically:
  • Country
  • City
  • Postal Code
  • Street (formatted)
  • State
  • Lat & Lng coordinates
• Map list view: this is great if you like to see your contacts (or account or any entity with address field) on the map, see the image below.
• I also made another list view to show the addresses around a specific address, used it for a request to link the closest contacts to Task entity where the task has address field.
• Route Field: if your entity has multiple addresses you can draw a route between them

For now this extension only renders the addresses on the map, if you need addresses for a specific city you will have to filter by city using the advanced pack, later we may add the feature of listing to the map center and zoom to fetch the addresses in that specific area.

One more planned feature: ability to fill other fields from the Google service, such as phone numbers, company names, working hours, and available photos.

First, thanks for quick response.

I am using the real estate extension. Would the map extension serve to be able to see on a map all the homes that you have registered? It would not need a route, simply that the map automatically showed the addresses of the houses, without having to enter them one by one.

yes that s possible
