Tax on shipping

yuri I noticed that in Sales Orders, tax is not being applied to the "Shipping Cost" field. I’ve searched through the documentation and forum, but haven’t found a clear answer or solution.

As EspoCRM continues to evolve, I’d like to bring this topic back into discussion. The "Shipping Cost" field is a very useful part of sales processes, especially for integrations with e-commerce platforms and stackable goods order handling. However, the lack of tax calculation on this field results in incorrect total amounts, which limits our ability to fully utilize it.

I’m aware of the workaround where shipping is added as a separate product or service, but this isn’t ideal—because we then lose the built-in functionality of the actual "Shipping Cost" field, especially when it comes to cost-of-sales calculations and proper sales reporting.

Is there a way to enable tax calculation for the shipping cost in Sales Orders?

OK thanks Yuri, I will just add a manual entry to a sales order for shipping and just not use the shipping box at the bottom.

I see that in sales orders tax isn’t being applied to the shipping cost, is there a way have it apply tax? I have searched but can’t find an answer.
