I'm trying to create a flowchart that create a new task after the first one is competed and I'm using the conditional intermediate event, but when I change the task status the process doesn't advance, How can I fix it?

I replicated your flowchart and it worked as a charm. Check whether Process Pending Flows scheduled jobs is running: Administration > Scheduled Jobs > Process Pending Flows.
