Creating reports is comfortable and flexible. A good thing. Certainly the creation of a PDF file is very complex and is not in the road map. Therefore, preparing the printing of reports through the browser also a variant. Only the report is displayed with a pushbutton, the other data is not displayed. Then you could print the report via the browser print.
