Workflow trigger type problem

I have a workflow which should only run on trigger type 'After Record Saved'.

I just saw it running in the log when I'd just created a new record. Is that by design? Or did the afterRecordSaved workflow be trigger by accident?

In the future possible will be add a new trigger type "After Record Modified"

For now you can try set the rule
Created At before field Modified At

Ok thanks for letting me know.

In the future it would be nice to have 'Created', 'Modified', and then a shared 'Saved'.
