Best way to write an application for EspoCRM

Have you ever thinked about way to write an application for EspoCRM?

I am thinking about Ionic framework and having really simple application which will
just synchronize my calls and SMSes into EspoCRM Call entity.

It will be Open Source - if it is not available yet - but for now I am looking for
right technologies and simplest / fastest way to do that - so I am gethering info.

I know - but I am looking for a way how to write that app. Just asking if someone has experience with any technology, which can help me out ;-)
