Project Management - Unable to assign user to a plan tasks

(1) I created a task for the plan
(2) When i tried to assign the task to a user it failed. See below.
(3) The user, roles and team have already been created.

Hi,

Have you added the user to the Project as a member? When you select the assignee, it should apply a filter allowing to select only members of the project. But this filter can be cleared. The validation checks it not allowing to save.

Note that in PM teams are not used. Every project acts as a Team with its members.
