Hi, I’ve released a free extension for EspoCRM 9.3.x that adds autosave while writing in the Activity Stream.
Why I created it
I often lost long comments or updates when a tab closed, the page reloaded, or I navigated away by mistake. EspoCRM only saves drafts on page unload, so if the browser crashes or you close the tab before it finishes, the text is gone. I built this extension so that drafts are saved while you type, so you don’t lose your work. What it does
You can download the ZIP from the Releases page, then install it via Administration → Extensions → Upload.

- Saves your draft automatically every 1.5 seconds after you stop typing
- Works on any entity that has the Stream panel (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, etc.)
- Uses the existing EspoCRM draft mechanism (sessionStorage)
- No database changes – purely client-side
- EspoCRM 9.3.x or higher
- PHP 8.0 or higher
