"Points" field in Project Management

Hello,

I just purchased the Project Management Extension. Just had a quick question, there as a field of "Points" in the Project Tasks form. Can someone please let me know what this field is for?

Hi Ali,

Thanks for the purchase.

Teams can use this field to assess task complexity. It's up to team how to use. Example: 1 - a no brainer task; 24 - pretty hard.

One can utilize Reports with this field. E.g. group by user and calculate SUM of all story points.

You may consider to remove this field from the layout. Note that the Project Task entity type is available for customization in the entity manager.

yuri, Hi Yuri, i just wanted to ask a quick question. For Project Management, we have a lot of similar projects so we were thinking of making sample records and use it as "Template" whenever a new project comes up and tweak and modify groups, tasks and sub-tasks accordingly. However, the projects are of similar nature.

So we were thinking of duplicating the project and then modifying individual groups, tasks and sub tasks etc as per the need of the specific project. However, i noticed that there is no option to duplicate the project.

Is it by design or is it something that might be added later in the future?
