Custom button on menu not showing

Hi,

I follow the code from this Post: https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/deve...n-list-display

Everything works perfectly .. BUT .. buttons are only displayed if I'm logged as administrator, otherwise they will NOT appear.

Any comments ?

Probably you've set permissions which are not met by users?

I tried .. EVERY single solution in your videos ... and NONE of them worked (if I log in as a different user than admin).. of course thru JQuery, I can make them appear and make super magic .. but .. that's not the idea.. if there is framework for that.

FYI: the Entities are custom ones (not the ones that ships with the system by default) .. MAYBE that can make the difference .. (with users with less privileges .. but if the user have full access to that Entity .. I see no reasons why the button won't appear)

Thank you so much !!! .. still do not answer my question, but it's another point of view to probable get around the issue... and Yes, I defined a Role with access to only those entities I want users to use .. but by chance the code example (I pasted in into one of those entities allowed by the role) .. and I can see the buttons as Admin, but I can't if I switch to another user. .. and I can NOT find/understand why .. unless certain buttons are controlled by permissions as well (but I can't find that neither) .. so .. "Probably you've set permissions which are not met by users?" .. besides entities, Is there something else I need to know ?

So, I will see if any of this videos you sent me can work better, hopping to try it and NOT to face the same issue again ..

Any comments ?

Hi,

The ONLY code I have, it's the one on the example, the only special thing is that the ENTITY is a CUSTOM entity created thru the system (without code at all) .. so after I created the new entity (thru espocrm-admin) then I follow the CODE from my original POST (first on top) .. that's it.. so I can see the buttons (from the example) ONLY if I'm logged in as admin, otherwise, the buttons does not appear at all. Nothing special here.
