    Is it possible to formulate /custom/Espo/Custom/Resources/layouts/{MyEntity}/detail.json to achieve something like this?

    Yes, of course! How? You have to code it. How? I don't know. Not a coder.

    There is a paid extension call layout pro that may semi achieve that. The issue is the Image Field Covering Multiple row, not sure if possible with this extension. If not you can do a Feature request and maybe...
