1. Copy folder 'custom'
2. Copy folder 'client\custom'
3. Compare 'data\config.php' and add or replace some changed parameters (exclude secret keys, db passwords etc)
4. Rebuild

I upgraded from 5.82 and followed the procedures to the current build. For two years prior to this upgrade, everything was running smoothly.
