Documents shared among different entities

Most probably, I'm loosing or missing something, but I can't share a "document" entity among several entities..

1. I created "many-to-many" relationships between "document" and the other involved entities...
2. Add each "relationship panel" in the layout of each entity
3. Create a new "document" from his own layout ..
4. Now, trying to add the document to any of the entities using their "documents relationship panel" is not possible, just because no documents appear on the selection list ...

Any suggestion about? Any help will be welcomed

Hello,
1. Try to change a status filter from "Active" to "All" (see screenshot).
2. If this issue occurred under a regular user (not admin) then check a role.
