New text field in APIUser entity

Hello
i think that should be new text area in entity APIUser, because i.e in my case, i created many external scripts and it will be great to move from user data auth to api, but i want to add some information in APIUser record, i.e. where i'm using that specific API key and etc..
How can i add that field?

Reading this post, you might add IP whitelisting for these (API) users, since generally the traffic from these API only users would originate from a designated server. If allowed IPs could be added as well, that would be nice.
