Hi,
I am wondering if Espocrm has the capability of validating State names in the address field set. At the moment, huge amount of errors are made by users entering the state names haphazardly. This is giving us a headache in reporting and control. Would like to know if we can validate this either using enum or lookup tables.
The odd design of Espocrm is that nearly all look-ups are enum and, worse, are mostly system defined fields nailed to a particular type. We will not be able to do anything. X2XCRM has a better mechanism for lookup as the lookup can be any DB table we create. The wonderful part of X2CRM in this area is that the lookup is created only once and then used in many different entity fields.
Need your advice and help on this.
