Is there a function or a way to set a field's value before a new entity is loaded? Like loadAdditonalFields but it doesn't work if the entity isn't created yet.

You can set default value in Entity Manager.

Yes but the values are from a linked entity.

By default, it's a link field in another entity and we create the linked entity.
