Relation Contact - Account

Hi, I‘m planning new fields according to accountRole like AccountStartDate and AccountEndDate to store Information when a contact joins an account or leaves an account. Can I make a relation like accountrole so you have different dates for each account that is related to a contact? Greetings Michael
