I've a question about customization.
What's the topic?

An iframe-object should appear over the email link. So I've modified the list-link.tpl file for putting the event with a reference to a javascript-function into the a-tag and the master.tpl file
to place the iframe-object and the javascript-function. The code works.
What's the issue?

When an update comes, all files become overwritten and the modification is gone. Someone told me then, that I simply have to place those files into the client/custom folder.
But the crm was unaffected by those customized files. How can I solve this? Even the documentation couldn't help me.
