How to create custom field type with add button and currency symbol

Hi,

Is there a way to create a custom field type with add button and currency symbol? The field type must also store data on the database.
I want to use the field type for "Partial Payment".

Please provide a step by step procedure.

it depends on structure of data, you want to store
if it could be a varchar, you need to do nothing special
