Account Assigned User on the Opportunities

Hello,

I am looking to add a field to the opportunities (Allowing to do searches) with the AssignedUser of the account. There would therefore be one user assigned for the opportunity and another user assigned for the account. I tried with Entity Manager, but with no success. Do you think that what I am trying to do is possible?
