Altering views of a particular field, across multiple entities

Thanks to several posts here I was able to make a custom attachment-multiple view for a specific entity (Opportunity). If I wanted that change to affect ALL entities where I add a multiple attachment field, is there a better way to do this? Or do I would I need to specify it for every place I want to use it?

(I'm implementing this as a module, or I'd just modify the core files.)

Any tips are appreciated.

For every entity separately.

Multiple Attachments field is available in Entity Manager.
