Korean (ko_KR) Translation for Review and Official Contribution

    Hello EspoCRM Team,

I am currently using EspoCRM and have found it to be a very useful and impressive product. I would like to continue using it in Korean, so I prepared an initial Korean (ko_KR) language pack.

I am not a professional translator. The translation was created with the assistance of ChatGPT Work, based on the en_US language resources from my EspoCRM installation.

However, I personally reviewed the translated content, terminology, and interface labels. I corrected unnatural expressions and adjusted major terms to better match the Korean terminology commonly used in CRM and business environments. Based on my review and testing, I believe the current translation provides a good and usable level of Korean localization.

The following work has been completed:
    • Translation of 92 EspoCRM Core and CRM source JSON files
    • 4,292 translated string occurrences
    • 4,226 PO translation entries
    • Validation of JSON syntax and translation keys
    • Validation of placeholders and Markdown links
    • Removal of duplicate PO entries
    • PO standard format validation
    • Testing on a self-hosted EspoCRM Docker installation
    • Manual review and correction of major Korean CRM terminology

The translation includes Korean labels for internal navigation categories:
    • $CRM → CRM
    • $Activities → 활동
    • $Support → 지원
    • $Marketing → 마케팅
    • $Business → 사업
    • $Organization → 조직

Major CRM terminology has also been localized for natural Korean usage, including:
    • Account → 고객사
    • Contact → 담당자
    • Lead → 잠재 고객
    • Opportunity → 영업 기회
    • Case → 장애 처리
    • Navbar → 상단 메뉴
    • Parent → 관련 항목
    • Direction → 수·발신 구분
    • Subject → 제목
    • Trash → 휴지통
    • Administration → 설정
    • Locale → 지역 설정

Due to the forum attachment size limit, I have divided the submission into the following three independent ZIP files:
    1. EspoCRM-ko_KR-PO.zip

    This file contains:
    • espocrm-ko_KR.po
    • Translation validation results
    • Submission information

The PO file contains 4,226 translation entries and can be used for POEditor import or review.
    1. EspoCRM-ko_KR-JSON.zip

This file contains 92 translated JSON files while preserving the original EspoCRM Core and CRM module paths:
    • application/Espo/Resources/i18n/ko_KR
    • application/Espo/Modules/Crm/Resources/i18n/ko_KR

These files are intended for official integration and technical review.
    1. EspoCRM-ko_KR-Install-Pack.zip

This file contains a custom-path installation package for immediate testing.

It can be installed under the EspoCRM custom directory without modifying the original application files.

I understand that official EspoCRM translations are managed through POEditor.

I would appreciate it if this initial translation could be added to the official Korean translation project as a starting point.

Since I am not a professional translator, I hope that professional translators and other Korean-speaking contributors can review, correct, and improve the translation through future updates.

My goal is to provide a usable initial Korean language pack and create a foundation that the EspoCRM community can continue improving.

Could you please advise how the attached translation should be imported into or applied to the official Korean POEditor project?

The submitted Korean translations may be freely reviewed, modified, and improved as part of the official EspoCRM translation project.

Thank you for developing EspoCRM and supporting community translations.

    Kind regards,
