    Charge EspoCRM domain

    Hi guys.
I have espoCRM running on my server under some domain. I would like to change the domain used. How can I do that? Do I need to much work into EspoCrm config/database to make it working fine?

    Hi Tomaszp,

All manipulations with the domain and its changes occur only at the server level; EspoCRM files and its database have nothing to do with this.
You will only need to change the URL of the instance in the configuration file and clear the cache.

        Tomaszp,

Please note that you will most likely need to contact your hosting provider to help you change the domain name. After you install the new domain, change the 'siteUrl' value in the {ESPO_DIR}/data/config.php file. Then, you need to clear the cache in the Administration of your EspoCRM instance.

Also, I would like to clarify that if you want to migrate from one server to another, this will require more steps, as this is a more complex process: https://docs.espocrm.com/administrat...another-server.

Thank you. I do not want to change server, hosting, etc. I have espocrm working under the domain example1.eu and I want to access it using example2.com.

          So I need to:
          - buy domain
          - point it to the IP address of my hosting
          - change siteUrl in config.php
          ?

            Tomaszp,

Yes, in general the steps look like this, just don't forget to clear the EspoCRM cache at the very end. Let me know if you have any problems with any of the steps.
