Deleted records still appear in Stream dashlet

If I create and then delete a meeting, contact etc. The history in the Stream shows the creation but not the deletion - therefore users can click the creation link only to find a 404 due to deleted record.

Perhaps best way to do this would be strikethrough the objects which are deleted?
