  • default font does not contain utf8 (e.g. Central European) characters

Unless I am mistaken of course. The characters are substituted with a different font, which looks quite ugly.
Using 3.2.2 in Firefox on a Linux machine.

Check the collation of your database. Is it utf8?

Hi Yuri, thanks for a fast response, sorry about the delay. How is it related to database collation? The characters do work normally, it's just that the font itself does not have the relevant characters so some other font is used instead, and this does not look very nice. I assume it's more of a CSS problem.

I tried Linux + FireFox and didn't notice any problems. Can you provide a screenshots and example of characters displayed wrong.

Works fine in my instance. Did you check a collation?
