"Forget Password" option on the login screen does not work

  • "Forget Password" option on the login screen does not work

    When i click the Forget Password? link, there is a request to enter the id and email address. I enter my id and email address but i get an error message "user name/email address not found'. The user name is correct and the email address is my external email address.

    Please advise.

    I tried and could reproduce the problem. Email Address is a primary address of the user record.

      Yes that is the problem. The system insists that the email address must be one in the user record. So how can the user access the email for password reset which was sent to the email address defined inside the system without getting into the system to access the email?

        I have attached the screen cap on the problem. In the event of a lost password, the industry standard is to send the password reset link to an alternate email so that the user can access that mail box.

          One won't be able to access if one doesn't have its email account monitored separately. It's fine.
